Chai the proper way, without the mess
Making chai in a pan means boil-overs, tea and spices everywhere, and a pot that is hard to clean. We fixed all three.
- No boil-oversThe Chai Fountain stirs your chai and keeps the foam in the pot, not on the hob.
- No sieveThe built-in strainer catches loose tea and spices as you pour.
- No scrubbingThe ceramic non-stick inside rinses clean.
Perfect chai in three steps
No hovering over the stove. Add your chai, turn on the heat and let the fountain do the work.
Fill
Add water, milk and your chai blend. A tea bag and chai masala works well too. Then turn on the heat.
Brew
Relax nearby while it brews. The fountain rolls up when your chai reaches the right temperature.
Serve
Pour from any side. There is enough for three people, or three rounds for you, hot or on ice.
Loka vs the other ways
The taste of a pan, the ease of a tea bag, and none of the downsides.
Designed with Pentagram, built to last
Three years and a thousand cups of chai went into every part.
Chai Fountain™
Spill-free and self-stirring. It stops foam boiling over and keeps your chai in the pot.
Engineered rim
No spout. The round lip pours smoothly from any angle, so there are no drips.
Built-in strainer
Unlock the top, tap it on your bin and the used chai is gone. Or lift the strainer out.
304 stainless steel
Strong and resistant to rust, so it lasts brew after brew.
Ceramic non-stick
Free from PFAS, PTFE, PFOA, lead and cadmium, and easy to clean.
Comfortable handle
A neutral grip that makes pouring easy, with no extra strainer needed.

Life transforming chai maker
What a difference this has made to my chai making mornings. No more 'not again' moments after accidentally having the pot overflow all over the hob.
Lali, verified reviewerSpectacular and easy
Works beautifully on our induction hob. Quick and easy. My Punjabi wife was initially sceptical of using the blend but says it is the best she has had.
John P., verified reviewerWorks exactly as advertised
Doesn't boil over. Easy to clean using hot water and a bottle brush. Takes the "work" out of making chai. A bit pricey but worth the cost.
CharlieAbove and beyond
We went from a family drinking chai maybe once a month, mostly at cafes, to enjoying it every day with perfection in every cup.
Eugene, verified reviewerPerfect cup
I've never made a true chai from scratch and using the Loka was so easy and so satisfying. The kitchen smelled great.
Jenny, verified reviewerBest chai I've ever had
So user friendly and the instructions are clear. I bought the pot with the silicone strainer and it's also easy to clean. My daughter and I make it twice a day.

Crafted by engineers, refined by ritual
Anish and Nikhil have been friends since university, bonded over music, basketball and chai. After Anish's cancer recovery sparked countless chai-fuelled walks, they set out to make brewing easier.
With engineer Andy and the design team at Pentagram, they spent three years, and a thousand cups of chai, perfecting the Chai Maker.

Questions, answered
More answers in the Loka Help Center.
How many cups does it make?
It holds 10 to 20oz, so it brews a single serve or up to 3 medium cups of chai.
What hob can I use?
All of them: induction, gas and electric.
Which chai blends can I use?
Our Loka blend is made for the Chai Maker, but other blends, including your own, work beautifully. Even tea bags and powdered spices work.
What milk do you recommend?
Dairy or oat milk, about half to two thirds milk depending on how creamy you like it. Above three quarters milk, or high protein milk, brew on a lower heat so it does not scorch.
Am I tied in with the Starter Set?
No. Your first month of Masala Chai Blend is on us and ships with your Chai Maker. You are only charged £21.99 from month two if you carry on, and you can cancel any time.
Where do you ship?
We ship to the UK and the US. Orders leave us 1 working day after you order and reach UK addresses 1 to 3 working days later.
