Who we are
Konar Studio is the trading name of Jarek Konarski and Lucia Pagano, who work together as sole traders in Scotland. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

What we collect and why

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.
Who we share it with
We only use these services to run Konar Studio:
- Google Workspace: our email
- Google Analytics 4: site analytics, only with your consent
- Microsoft Clarity: heatmaps and session recordings, only with your consent. Clarity hides sensitive details such as typed form fields.
- Anthropic: powers our AI chat. Your chat messages are sent to Anthropic to generate an answer. We do not keep chat history.
- Loom: hosting the teardown videos we make for you
- WhatsApp: if you choose to message us there
- Vercel: hosts our website
- FormSubmit: delivers our teardown form to our inbox
Some of these companies are based in the United States. Where your data leaves the UK, it is protected by safeguards such as the UK-US data bridge or the UK's approved contract clauses.
How long we keep it
- Teardown requests and messages from people who do not become clients: 6 months, then deleted
- Client records and invoices: 6 years, because UK tax law requires it
- Analytics data: GA4 keeps data for 14 months; Clarity keeps it for up to 13 months
- AI chat messages: not stored by us

Your rights
You can ask us to:
- show you the data we hold about you
- correct it
- delete it
- limit or stop how we use it
- give it to you in a portable format
- withdraw your consent at any time (for cookies, use Cookie settings in the footer)
Email lucia@konar.studio and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
We will update this page if anything changes and show the new date at the top.
